LATAM Airlines to be only Israel-Latin America service

From December 2018, LATAM Airlines will launch a new flight connecting Tel Aviv, Israel to Santiago, Chile via São Paulo, Brazil. The route, which will be operated three times a week by a Boeing 787 aircraft, offering 217 seats in Economy and 30 seats in Premium Business, will be the first route connecting Israel and Latin America.

Jerome Cadier, CEO of LATAM Airlines Brazil, said “This is a unique service for passengers across much of Latin America. No other airline connects Latin America with Israel. Travellers from Israel, for example, will now be able to travel with ease to to Brazil, Argentina and Chile with this new flight.”

Yariv Levin, Minister of Tourism for Israel, added: “The launch of the direct route from Israel to Brazil and Chile is an important achievement. We believe that the new route will strengthen the cooperation between Israel and Latin America, and increase the flow of tourists travelling between the two regions.”
