Gazpromneft-Aero and Chinese national jet fuel supplier China Aviation Oil Hong Kong (CAOHK) have signed a new agreement on fueling CAOHK’s designated airline customers in airports where Gazpromneft-Aero operates.
In 2017, Gazpromneft-Aero began providing CAOHK access to its network of airports in Russia, and in February, Gazpromneft-Aero began refueling Air China Airlines at Sheremetyevo International Airport (Moscow).
Gazpromneft-Aero and CAOHK have been cooperating since December 2015 when CAOHK started supplying jet fuel to Gazpromneft-Aero’s customers in Chinese airports. By the end of 2016, approximately 8,000 tons of jet fuel have been supplied to Gazpromneft-Aero’s Russian partner airlines in 10 Chinese airports.
Vladimir Egorov, General Director of Gazpromneft-Aero, said: “Tourist traffic between Russia and China is constantly increasing. Cooperation with CAOHK, the subsidiary of CNAF Group Corporation, the leading jet fuel supplier in China, is an important step for Gazpromneft-Aero’s international business development. In the future, we hope to continue our cooperation on airport refueling in Chinese airports and in other countries in the Asia-Pacific Region, as well as for CAOHK’s customers in major international airports in Russia and CIS”.
