Brazilian restaurant Viena to open first U.S. location at MIA

Viena, the leading restaurant chain in Brazil with nearly 100 locations throughout the country, will debut its first U.S. location with a grand opening celebration at Miami International Airport. The 10,000-square-foot location on the top floor of the MIA Hotel provides a farm-to-table concept featuring European and Brazilian cuisine.

Officials from the Miami-Dade Aviation Department and IMCMV – the operator of Viena – will inaugurate the restaurant with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by live Brazilian entertainment and complimentary menu samples for news media.

IMCMV Holdings is a U.S. subsidiary of the Brazil-based company International Meal Company Alimentação S.A. (MEAL3 BZ) “IMC,” which owns and operates Margaritaville and Land Shark Bar & Grill destination restaurants throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Panama. IMC also owns over 400 casual and quick-service restaurants in Brazil, the Caribbean and Mexico.

Brazil is MIA’s top international market, generating more than 1.5 million passengers annually and more weekly flights than any other U.S. airport.
