Vision-Box sponsored a border control conference that took place on 26 May in Portugal. The conference was held at the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences in Lisbon, Portugal, and organised by the Border Control Services Inspectors (SEF) Union.
The conference’s panel discussions explored various issues currently affecting European borders such as “Investing in Security for Tourism Promotion” and “Security and Economic Development”. On-hand to discuss the conference’s main themes were several expert government and industry representatives that included the Ministry of Interior Constança Urbano de Sousa, the President of the Portuguese Airline TAP, Fernando Pinto, the President of CIP (Confederation of Portuguese Business).
